The ultimate fire poker! These Dragons are designed and hand made by me at my workshop in Cheshire, England.
Forged from 5/8"(14mm) iron bar these Dragons are all unique due to the hand forging process, if I get burnt they look angry! They are forged using hand made, recycled, punches and chisels. Using the hammer and anvil they are brought to life with a character of their own. The working end is forged to a diamond point for accurate fire prodding.
The Dragon features a 'cube twist' design on the shaft- a real talking point!
The standard length is 700mm but they can be any length up to 850mm- each one is made to order so it may be up to 10 days before I'm ready to ship. Message me if you're in need of a quicker turnaround and I'll do my best to help.
I take time finishing them, ensuring a polished, metallic look. Several coats of renaissance wax are added to build a natural patina and protect the iron.
I can stamp up to 40 characters i.e. letters/numbers on each dragon. Simply count the number of letters and numbers in your message and select the correct pricing option at checkout - you don't need to count spaces.

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
I only use natural products to treat the iron. All items are treated with either Coconut Oil or 'Renaissance Wax' to provide a protective and attractive finish. I recommend that you occasionally treat the iron with beeswax or similar natural polish, this will build a beautiful patina and keep the iron looking tip top. Simply apply some wax and buff to a high shine.
As no lacquers or paints are used to treat the iron then over time, and if there is significant moisture in the air, rust spots may begin to appear. if this does happen gently remove the rust with wire wool and apply a coat of natural wax as detailed above. Given a little care and attention the ironwork will last for centuries!
